My name is Kim and I have been providing professional relaxation or deep tissue massage since 2017. I completed most my RMT training in Alberta and am about 500 hours away from certification. A serious arm injury took me away from my practice for a bit but my strength is almost 100% and my training will be complete by March! Until then, you get a quality massage for a great price of just 50.00 an hour. My calm, soothing studio is in the newly built SMAK building on the corner of Idylwyld and 34th and there is designated parking behind the building. The studio is calm and soothing and I use a diffuser to diffuse essential oils into the air. The table is heated with a remote control with 6 settings handy at your fingertips for your convenience. Both the cradle and the table have a plush layer of sheepskin for an added layer of comfort. I use coconut oil or grapeseed oil, and can add essential oils if requested ahead of time for an extra 5 $. The music is unique and tranquil - not the boring spa stuff! (Unless that’s what you wish ). I provide hot towels to catch residual oils after the massage and often include hydrotherapy in all sessions. (Use of heat and/or cold). Foot massages and scalp massages are my favourite and always included unless otherwise requested! I am trained in: Swedish/Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal and post natal massage, trigger points therapy. A typical massage from Me will involve an incorporation of both Swedish and deep techniques, some joint mobilizations and light stretching, but session can be customized to address your chief complaint. Rate: 50/hr Hours: My hours are flexible and am generally available Monday to Friday 9-5 and Saturdays and Sundays by request.
