Today is August 1st just paid a visit to the spa located at 12 Jutland Avenue received by a so so looking Asian woman took me inside the room, ask me what I wanted I gave her 160 for everything 45 minutes then she leaves and two minutes later comes in this chubby looking Asian woman named Maggie awful awful service. From my experience at that spa, they've only asked for room fee first. Recently went, and same protocol. Guess you got unlucky. Quality has gone down tbh. Unless you sure of the girl/service you get, don't recommend paying full before anything happens. Just my 2 cents.

Agree with you xtc, I have been many many times to espa and always just a room fee in advance. Only once did mamasan make announcment to the main room of "$100 tip expected" which was odd, but in line with the tipping rate. But always the tip goes to the attendant, always.........if you are paying someone else, that is wrong.
