The inability to understand nonliteral language and the relentless and repetitive effort to try to make everything fit into the "I said this literally" and the "I literally didn't say that" boxes is a telltale sign of the severity of your condition. In normal conversational language, you don't need to literally say something to mean it.

It's unfortunate that your friend ended up in the ICU. From what I have read and researched, some people's immunological response to the vaccine is similar or more aggressive than being attacked by the virus. The vaccine is supposed to trigger a reaction from the immune system.

To answer your question - Yes, I had symptoms from the first AZ dose. The risks were not disclosed to us until AFTER it became a problem. However, many countries were banning AZ outright at that time because they knew it was going to cause problems. Only in Canada did we move forward because there were no other vaccines available in large quantities.

Justin and his cronies are 100% to blame for this. They knew the side-effects because of what other countries were doing and still went ahead with it.

I got Moderna as a second dose. I had zero side effects.
