Have a look at the first couple of pages of this thread. but basically a by-law crackdown regarding licensing and in some case zoning. Has different spas responding in different ways, but generally a bit more on the down-low

An MPA just told me that she was told By’law was checking a spa on Tuesday. But the MPA didn’t tell me which spa or any details. So not sure how accurate any of that is..

A very loud voiced guy talking to the owner when I was in the spa. He got my attention. I tried to listen but it was a little hard to follow it happened fast. Not sure if he was a customer but I think I may have heard the word Appointment... so maybe not. I should have asked the owner when I left. I was in a room at 2:15pm.. so maybe at 2:30pm

They are all rumors by some spa girls . So far as I know not a single spa has been visited by Bylaws the past week. One good thing is we had a few new girls came in the past 2-3 days for interview. One new girl starting Friday and one new girl Jenny starting today. The one who came in for interview yesterday was a very young and cute girl. We don't know when she will be starting.

Yeah. I would tend to believe that it’s unsubstantiated rumour. The lack of specificity when pressed would lend credence to that.

Another reason was some girls working in R Hill spas didn't have a clue what's going on because their bosses didn't tell them anything. Maybe they just happened to hear from a few girls from other spas and they think it just started happening now.
