1 hour massage worth it?

Ok, I have to talk out against this.

I won't say where, but I will say what I got and for how much.

I got a one hour bs at an MP and paid $260. I understand that the door fee would be doubled, because obviously the overall stay and massage has doubled in time. But why would they charge double for the bs? There is still only one bs and it's just as long as a half hour bs. If there were two bs's or two sog's, I'd understand paying $100 x 2, but paying $200 for one bs that's identical in length and technique as the half hour bs is just a total rip off.

I got a 45-min bs for $140 at another place. The girl extended the time by nearly 20 minutes, so it was over an hour. While the entrance fee was increased, the bs fee was not. And logically, why would it?

I'm sorry to seem like I'm trying to stir shit up, but I feel like I have stand up against this injustice. We work hard for our money, well I do anyway, and the last thing I need is to be ripped off for unjust reasons.

Either offer two sessions in the one hour, or stop overcharing the customers. End of story. I guess next time, I'll just book the half hour, and at the end I'll ask for another half hour. Still pay the same, but at least I'll get twice of everything. AS I BLOODY WELL SHOULD!!!

1. Did you ask the attendant that you would like to have a NR for the first 30 minutes and a BS for the following 30 minutes?

2. Did you ask if you could have two releases?

3. If you know that you could make $x.xx amount per 30 minutes from one customer do you think you should drop your rates for 60 minutes or just see two clients for 60 minutes?

4. What was the difference between places? Did one have a better product? A better atmosphere? A cleanlier environment?

Basically it all boils down to two factors:

* Supply and demand
* Quality of service

You get what you pay for and the demand will determine the price.

No you did not get ripped off, those are the correct prices. Whether or not you get 2 sog is up to you to discuss with the attendent beforehand. Next time ask the attendent if you can get 2 sog. Your math is wrong also, if you got 2 seperate sessions it would cost 280 not the 260 you paid.

you got an mpa who should have given you 2 sog...and as you said everything would have been fine...

ref #3 point...in the mind of a mpa...this should automatically lead to 2 sog...because each half hour should be treated differently...if she only does one sog...and teases a guy to his boiling point half way through the hour...what happens to the other half hour????

You did not get ripped off. If you think the price is too high go back to the cheaper place you keep talking about. Or take lesser options if you can't afford it. Or stay home.

I disagree with the logic that an hour should automoatically lead to two sog in the mind of the mpa. Why would it? She's likely got lots of customers that don't ask for that. Some offer it without being asked but not many. I prefer a long slow build up and never ask or even consider it. I generally go for a full hour as I feel 30 min is too rushed.

If you want 2 sog ask ahead of time. Did she tell you the price up front? If she did and you agreed then you have nothing to complain about. If you are going to a place for the first time and don't know the pricing it would be wise to ask.

Many MPAs don't seem to offer 2 sog when you see them for an hour. Also, and this has been covered before, many guys are embarrassed to ask for two. I know I personally dread the look of "great more work!" you get from some if you do ask.

I only had one MPA ever ask me if I wanted to have 2 sog during an hour appointment (man was that a good time).

The big 2 should formulate a policy on this mattter as it is a touchy subject for customers. We don't want to be overly demanding, well at least a good deal of us don't, but we don't like being ripped off either.

As far as I am concerned, without the double sog the 1 hour just isn't worth it.

Lets say for the sake of argument the attendant were Jade and she charged you the amount War Axe stated for an hour ( which she never would coz she's Jade ) and you got "one shot on goal", so to speak, would you feel ripped off ?

The massage service is a combo of by-the-hour and piecework: a bodyslide, a nude reverse etc. If the spa's facility is occupied, the customer's obligated to pay, because it can't be rented to someone else. Whatever you agreed on up to full rate for second half-hour would be fair. If the Attendant's time is occupied, she's prevented from making money elsewhere and has a right to expect it from you. Again up to 2x the half hr version. Whatever you agreed on.
As to your tale: you're not seriously suggesting that a 10 minute BS in a 30 minute session is worth the same as a 20 minute version in an hour? Looks to me like twice as much work from her (and twice as much money from you). Did you really only get a 1/2 hr version in the hour's time? Now that's complaint material, to management if the MPA insists on double. But what did you guys do with that'extra' time? What did you say? And MSOG: assuming they're 'included' without mentioning it is as bad as her assuming that since other customer's are here for the game, not the scoring, so are you. Bad on both sides. But, no matter how long you sit, not every restaurant refills your coffee at no extra charge. Settle the rules before the face-off.
Of course during the price negociations, spa and attendant are free to offer whatever attractive price breaks they wish, as are you to ask. But the logic of a door-fee break, 'cause there's a labour savings on room prep and laundry kinda works against you in the goal crease doesn't it? The bird in her hand's usually easier than the second one she's gotta coax outa the bush. The $10 vs $20 posts in the SC section give ample illustration of how unpersuasive the 'lower rates increase activity" argument can be to workers. Sadly, he who enters a deal with terms unstated

all this is dependent on the mpa...her routine may or may not include the double sog...so in that case

if you see someone who doesn't...review them...vent....whatever...and move on...

You did not get ripped off. If a 30 minute BS is $100, do the math. How much do you think a 60 minute BS will be? Double the time, double the rate. Secret_touch has no clue, she's just spouting off as usual.
Why do you wait for them to ask you? Simply ask at the beginning if the MPA minds doing 2. I have NEVER been refused (although one high profile girl does pull an attitude when you disrupt her script).

Read Ref's and oldjones' replies as they are entirely correct. Dont make accusations or blame others if you failed to ask the right questions .

In general i don't think a 1 hour session is worth it. The only way i could justify going for a 1 hour session at a MP is if i have a really good time when i'm with her. I'd have to:

- Be very infactuated with her.
- Be pretty sure that i can get extras.
- Have seen her at least 3 times before and had great times. (30 min sessions)
- Be confident that we can carry a somewhat long (20min) conversation because i like to chat a bit during the back rubs.

If i'm not confident of at least 3 of these 4 points i can't go for a 60min session with that MPA. Also 9/10 times if i can't get extras that's an automatic disqualification. When it comes down to it, $260 is a mid to high end SP for an hour. If you truly enjoy getting a massage then go for the hour, but it's not for everyone.

I think the question is whether the MPA involved should have informed you that you may take any two options in an hour session. ( ie N/ BS, T/ BS, NR / BS etc )

I've never technically had an hour BS at any licensed MP. Fortunately the first couple of MPA's I ever saw in a licensed MP, charged me accordingly for the extras that took place in that hour. I asked for BS, which probably took up abt 30 % of that hour at the most and was charged for the equivalent of an N/BS ( $160 ). I confirmed with management later that this is how it works and it is also my understanding that NR should be included with a BS session.

Old Jones does make a valid point, but it's hard to compare an hour session to a half hour session directly, as technically the time spent on the BS should be double that of the time involved in a half hour. You could say that if only 10 mins are spent on it in a half hour then it should last 20 minutes in a two hour session. However that isn't how the pricing works, to my knowledge. If you are getting a BS for the most part of that hour then I can see how charging double is warranted and obviously should be paid. It's a tough call as these things vary from MPA to MPA and there are many variables.

I get the impression that guys pay the full $200, even although they know they can choose a lesser option and most likely get the same type of session. I don't really understand the logic behind this, but if I had a disposable income I may pay it as well, just because I can. I assume the N/NR part is being bypassed fairly quickly. Lets face it, the "NR" does entail some work on our behalf, although maybe from a selfish standpoint, in part, even though it involves a mutual effort and their consent.

In my mind MPA's do provide a service that isn't comparable to many other professions. They give a part of themselves, which should be appreciated and warrants a high price, due to the value of what is being shared. That being said, it is their choice to work in the profession. I feel that paying a $160 tip for an hour is more than a reasonable salary ( even after any house fee deduction, if applicable ). It's not a case of being cheap, but what is fair. If I actually wanted a BS for the full hour then I'd expect to pay for it accordingly, but I prefer a build up.

I've rambled at length before as to why I prefer an hour session over a half hour session, so I'll spare you the pain, but the experience is completely different.

I don't get the 2 SOG thing. It just seems like a way to try and justify the money spent.

It seems the general mentality in this thread is that it should have been War Axe's responsibility to know the pricing options. I'm not so sure about that. The bottom line, War Axe, is that you are now informed. If you agreed to pay the money upfront then essentially that was your choice. Possibly you were mislead or they just assumed you knew the pricing method, if, in fact, you did get a "full hour BS session". I agree, that was most certainly one of her valuable assets which set her apart from the rest : )

If all MPA's were like the Jade with regards to the money aspect and overall outlook, we would not be having this discussion. Granted there may be a thread regarding the latest traffic jam she caused by not showing up, but, hey, nobody's perfect. I agree, you need two hours with her : )

I was trying to make the point, using my esteemed colleague in yearning, Dondada, that the price is worth paying if you are getting top service with an MPA that attends to all your needs. What's the point in seeing an MPA at a cheaper rate if you aren't getting the same level of "experience". That would be ripping yourself off.

If the MPA did not short you time....then you did not get ripped off...that's the price of a one hr BS session at IT, and now SRM(1hr Shower massage session-previous $250). Those are standard...they do not change....though quality of the session varies with each different MPA....some, you will feel the experience was mechanical(thus ripped off) while others can make you feel like you got a deal for $260. I myself only get the hr sessions....can't stand the half hr sessions....makes me feel like I am part of an assembly line.

The dames have to pay the 'house' a fee depending on the time spent in the room. Any of the reputable (higher class) places will charge you $200+ for an hour massage. I am assuming the poster went to one of these spas: IT, Allure etc You pay big bucks for good quality!

No, because that's the correct rate. They didn't sneak any hidden charges on you. Double the time = double door fee + double the extras fee. Simple math.

Yes, because I felt the same way you did the first time I did an hour long and realized the same things you did. One SOG, and the BS lasted as long as it would have for a single session.

Realizing that I could have had a great incall session with a full service SP for the same amount just made me understand that the little head's not exactly the most logical when he's taken charge of a situation.

I hope you took away from the encounter the same thing I did. I was a little poorer in my pocket, but I gained experience. As in:
