10-minute "spotlight" ideas?
Yeah, I've thought of that. However, there could be upwards of 40 people there! This is a BIG group, and growing all the time. I think it'd be a bit chaotic for that "round robin" sort of thing, although it would be great in a smaller group (and one that isn't going to be meeting in a restaurant that morning, LOL!).
I have considered having ONE person-- perhaps draw from the business cards of all in attendance, either that or ask for a volunteer-- to come and sit and let Hubby work on one selected "issue" while I talk. At the end of the discussion, they tell how great they feel (and for them to stand there and ask if he could "fix this other thing too" would be awesome!).
I am *thinking* that we'll focus on stress relief. Stress is such a major component of life these days, and it actually is manifested in the body in many ways that massage can help. Not only that, but PAIN leads to even more stress, which makes us compensate, causing more pain, etc etc etc. Bring out the "vicious cycle" concept. And we also have the Qigong classes, which are also great for stress-relief (I call that "take-home stress relief", since they end up actually learning how to turn their own stress hormones off).
