Gees Royce, I can relate to your dilemma, but for shits sake settle back and go with the flow. How many people do you know who are in happy relationships? None. Zero. Zilch. All you need is a few odd ball mates, and the occasional paid sex partner. You can establish a beautiful relationship with sex workers. Not like a REAL relationship, but a lovely happy Reviewiendship nevertheless.
My older brother got married at age 23. He is still with his wife. They are quite rich. But I wouldn't swap my odd ball loveless life for his for all the tea in China.
I think you need to get out more. You're only young. Ride motorbikes, fly ultralights, go snow skiing, sail a Hobie Cat at Bribie, play chess when you're so pissed you can't tell the difference between a knight and a rook, drive a go cart at Archerfield, go gliding, try trap shooting at Belmont.
Why try to achieve what no-one else can. Relationships are lovely when everythings honky dory. But they just don't happen.

Thanks for the reminder Merlin and I do realise that relationships aren't always a sweet bed of roses. But for me, I would just like the opportunity of at least working at a relationship and even if it does go sour or south, know that I put the effort in and at the end call it unreconcilable differences.

I've never like being a hypocrite, so would at the very least want to have a good go at a relationship, but the opportunity is just not presenting itself regardless of how or what I try to change. At the end of the day, outside of the "relationship" I guess there are fundamental "needs" I really need to have satisfied which I have no way of satisfying in my current situation. I'm referring to "love". I've seen with other people that my be in a similar position as me, they still have family ( eg. close brothers, sisters etc ) who love them, unfortunately I don't have any of those support mechanisms and hence I guess why I think I'm feeling more of that emotional emptiness.

As much as I value and appreciate what some of the ladies I've seen over the years have done for me, I can't continue having them help shoulder all of my burden and that I really need to find a long term solution for the betterment of my emotional wellbeing.

Sorry to piss you off so early in the morning and with the ambiguity of my actions Brooke.

I was pissed off and hence my rant here in the forum and my posting on AE was an attempt to cheer myself up by introducing a guessing game.

As far as attitudes go, I only have an attitude towards those people who are quick to judge or stereotype me without making the effort to get to know me.
