Hi there

Was wondering if anyone can share with me their routine for carrying out mini indian head massage treatments please? I've been asked to do this for the first time but am finding it hard to try and cut down my normal routine. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Tracey
I always do about 3 moves on the shoulder area, one on the neck then as many of the ones that feel really good on the head as possible and finish with just the stroking on the face so they have had something there. My main aim is to do the moves I think feel the best so they will want more! I also tend to work slightly quicker than I would normally. Just keep an eye on the time - you could always practice on someone or on the air in front of you (I have a bad habit of doing this when sitting in traffic!) to get the timing right.

Do you get funny looks from other drivers? I must admit, when I first started reflexology my thumbs would ache so much that I started to do the caterpillar movement around my steering wheel to supple them! I must have looked a right nutter but it worked!!

The other drivers either get a chance to see me practising IHM moves or singing loudly... I'm not sure which looks weirder... Hey, if I make people laugh when sitting in morning traffic then all the better!

Hi there

Just wanted to say thanks for your replies. I drive along singing at the top of my voice as well so probably get some weird looks from other drivers so may take your advice and try out my moves too. Gives people something to laugh about anyway. Another thing I've started practising on as well is my daughter's girls world - that's quite good for doing the head movements anyway.
