As others have said the owners wouldn't pay it if they didn't have it. Joe Mauer is an entertainer and entertainers in this country make a lot of money because they have a specialized skill that people will pay to see. Nobody complains about what actors and actresses make. Will Smith and Julia Roberts get $20 million a picture, what about recording artists, authors, talk show hosts like Dr Phil, Oprah, Rush LImbaugh & Howard Stern making 20 & 30 million a year. If you don't want these people to make that kind of money then don't watch, listen or attend their events.
