1st time to Phuket

Hey All,

Will be arriving afternoon on the 30th of March. Read with great interest and amusement several of the threads. You're all valuable resources of information, so thank you for taking the time to illuminate us Newbies.

Plan to travel around, though I will be based in Patong Beach for a month. It'd be ideal to join in on the festivities with a couple of experienced 'Banglers' (wouldn't want to go too far astray on my first couple nights), just to show me the ropes. As I'm staying for a while, nothing wrong with having some mates to hang with as well.

Perhaps those interested in the amusement and renewed excitement of showing a Newbie from Canada around could let me know on the thread and where a good meeting place might be on the eve of the 30th. Not sure how much mojo I'll have after the long trip there but, somehow, I think I'll be able muster something up:diablo:

Just follow your nose and you can't go wrong. Going 'astray' is half the fun. Just don't take too much baht on the first night and leave the ol' credit cards in your hotel.
