1st Time Trip

HI Everybody,

I've been lurking around here for some time! Great Site. Great Info! I'll be in Phuket Mar 7 -15. So I'm starting to get really excited/nervous. I really want to experience "everything", many times.
Is Soi Kepsub, a street name? A town, or a place....I see it referred to on here quite a bit. Also, if possible I'd love to meet up with a couple guys fromt he board for a night....I'm a total newbie and if someone could show me around, or hang out for a couple hours, drinks are always on me.
I had first thought of trying to experience many different ladies, but then after reading some threads, I thought it might be better to try and get one great girl for 4 or 5 days.....thoughts?
BTW, this BJ bar really sounds great.....can't wait to go.
Anyone else, gonna be there 2nd week in March?

My advice is as it will be yr first time, dont try to find 1 girl for the week, maybe on yr 3/4 time, but the first time you will be like a kid in a sweet shop, have a bit of each sweety, mind you, 1 week in toy land is no where near long enough, 3 weeks minimum is required

BTW, your post isn't clear, are you there in March or May?

I'll be there in March. 7 - 15, I hope a week is enough time to really enjoy myself. I didn't want to go for TOO long, cause I didn't really know what to expect, and I'm travelling on my own. So is soi kepsub a street/place/ or town.....I see the word/name Soi thrown around a lot...what's it mean?

It's a street name . If you have heard of a game called 'British Bulldog' it's a bit like than. I don't think a newbie will get through there in one piece !

I would say don't plan too much, just go with the flow and enjoy ...

Soi means Street. Soi Kebsup is a street a copule hundred meters down Rat-U-Thit, from Bangla. Chok full of Massage places, that start to open at 11AM. Often you bump into 5'4" roadblocks, that try to steer you into the nearest one. Lots of daytime fun.....

dont worry its not difficult....head towards bangla have a beer in the shipwreck or the blue lotus (about a third up on your right hand side if heading from the beach)..people watch for a while and then head to soi eric and the mtb bar...nicke will set you right.....just dont take the first girl you see.

It is your first trip. Don't plan too much and just let it (her) come over you. As already mentioned, go to the MTB and you will get plenty of expert advice. Have fun.

i had the same thoughts before my first trip in december 08 for 2 weeks.believe me when you get to your first bar it will all become a lot clearer!
as the advice goes dont take the first girl that comes along,unless shes a right hottie and definitely dont have em hanging around for a whole week.the mistakes i made but not for the 2nd trip when i come back for 3 weeks!

you will feel safer than a night in your local,everyone is very friendly and if all else fails head to MTB on soi eric,about halfway down bangla and you cant go wrong!

I do remember my first time in Phuket, not knowing a lot about the city... In soi Kepsup there are about 7 or 8 massage places, all are asking 300 baht/hour for oil massage. The "special" massages ca be obtained everywhere, for 500/1000 or 1500 baht extra (HJ, BJ or full service). You can of course negociate and I've had an exceptional BJ from a beautiful young girl at the end of the 1 hour massage for 800 Baht "all in" instead of the 1300 she requested initially...

Why go to the BJ bar? Well, It's a strange place, you have to see it. Of course you can get the same from any massage place, but it will be more expensive. At the BJ bar, the girl is naked, french kiss and *** are also on the menu.

When taking the beach road, past Bangla road (heading North, leaving Bangla road on your right hand side), there are also a few massage places (careful for ladyboys!) and I had there my best "real" massage, followed by a great BJ, on my last day... I wish I had met her before... Total damage was negociated down to 1000 Baht.

Just walk around, Bangla is definitely NOT the only place to go to. And after your first Phuket stay, try to come back to reality. But be careful, full recovery is not guaranteed...
