A couple of things:

1) Were they the only ones using twitter to pass on the messages?
2) Were they the only ones repeating the rumors that were going around?

If the answer was yes to any of the above, they should be charged with public mischief. If the answer is NO to any of the above, they should be let off.....escpecially since the public can't get accurate news from the "official" news sources.....
 
Looks like it's going to be a long long trial. I am with Tboy on this one but we need more facts.
 
I see some city officials who are powerless (or reluctant) to get the actual criminals so they'll settle for these two.....
