UTICA, N.Y. -- Two women working at a massage parlor in Utica are facing charges after more than just massages were reportedly being offered.
The Utica Police Department said that it has received multiple complaints over the past few weeks regarding the massage establishment at 1809 Genesee St. engaging in "illegal sexual acts."
Following an investigation into these complaints, UPD carried out the arrests on June 27.
Wangua Ning, 53, from Queens, is accused of unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution.
55-year-old Giu-Lan Zhang, with no known address according to police, is charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.
