Just came back from seeing this new disaster film about the end of the world. Based upon the Mayan prophecy about the end of the world 12.21.2012. I guess I was entertained but the plot and dialogue will make you roll your eyes back in your head throughout. Right away I knew it was the same director as Independance day. Cheesy lines and sub plots. When the action happens it is a lot of fun. The narrow escapes, the incredible timing of rescues, the little dog that almost buys it but some how survives. Not an award winner but good special effects.

At least the director is consistent with the big budget end of the world movies. Lots of special effects with Independence Day followed by The Day After Tomorrow and now 2012.
