3day old shiatsu runt will not eat .whines steady.freaking out mommy?

pup is runt ,i have a food replacement very weak,vet is open in 8 hrs whines steady trying to make him eat...please help before he passes away..desperate for info

use a syringe or eye dropper to feed the puppy, but give small amt. check out some websites on puppy care, too. give her sugar water, too. make sure she is warm.

When my rottie had pups and she rejected them..i had to take care of them and they were premature. The vet told me to keep them warm, so i had a heated blanket on low and kept them covered. He also told me to give them honey if it looked like they were getting to weak and about to die. I did this for one in particular, the smallest, because she wouldnt take the formula. Just put it on the tip of your finger and put it in his mouth, a little bit at a time. Good Luck, i know its heartbreaking.

Why not call the vet out or at least phone for advice? I would.

Use an eye dropper to get the supplement down her..Make certain she is warm before attempting to feed.
