It's true that we probably do end up exploiting people in some way participating in the sex trade, I fully support it becoming fully legalized and regulated. Sex work should be legal, protected and not stigmatized. This "whore" attitude is fundamentally part of the problem.

They often do make fun of men to make their work easier considering what they are and what they do. Some have expensive substances abuse problems to mask the pain or work to feed their habits. The truth is harsh and not everyone likes to acknowledge this head on.

I’ve never asked the girls in Edmonton if they make fun of me once I leave, but you never know, they could be bad mouthing me to other guys, and that’s how you’d know.

As I don’t hang out with the girls after to know if they trash talk all the guys, and I actively avoid installing cameras in the businesses, I still could not tell you if this is an ongoing thing........or the rampant drug use.

Just like any other profession they work very hard to please their clients, its extremely tough work to put on a smile and make that last till the end of the day so everyone is looked after and walks away happy. It is an amazing service that they fill and we all need it from time to time. Its funny that you are even on this board ....I guess you need the Profession as well (From time to time)! Yah, I do take issue with someone like Gulag blanketing with a statement and calling all service providers whores, (its an ugly and unnecessary term) their is nothing wrong with the Profession and services they provide. Its a job that needs to be filled just like any other type of work. It is the same as calling a sanitation worker or a building care taker a dirty low life person.....until your garbage piles up in the street or your food table at the mall is filthy and no other clean tables are available. Then all of the sudden you need and want the service and the people that are good enough to clean-up after you. I can't remember any kid growing up saying he / she wants to be a janitor when I grow-up, yet we have good people that do this for a living without getting recognition for all the hard work they do.
His post could have easily been taken down after his uncalled for stupid bash, he chose to keep it for everyone to see including the same service providers he most likely needs and uses to clean up his mess. I stand by my comment, he can stay in Toronto!
