and asked if we'd be interested in marketing together. She wants to get set up in corporate offices to do talks about how chiropractic and massage work together, and we'd give free SAMPLES (not full-out chair massages). We wouldn't be going as a representative of her business, but of our own. She wants an MT there to show HOW chiropractic and massage therapy go hand-in-hand.
I have read multitudes of threads and posts on MassagePlanetL indicating that many MT's have gotten a "bum deal" by doing such things. I mentioned as much to her, and she assured me that she didn't like the idea of anyone taking advaneforum.xxxe of the other either. From what I can gather, what she wants is a marketing/networking partner.
I told her that historically, Hubby hasn't been too keen on such ideas, but that I'd talk to him and let her know if he wants to look further into it. We know where her office is, and I suggested that we ought to do a "one on one" meeting to get to know each other and what we both do better. She thought that would be a good idea too.
The main reason why I am somewhat inclined to try this deal out with her is because we have been working on a workshop for hand/arm self-care for corporate/office/computer folks, and this could give us an "in" with some places we might not otherwise have.
Am I crazy, or is this a *potentially* good idea?
