Do they lock their car(s)? Leave the keys in the ignition?

When was the last time you felt safe not doing any of these things?

Is it considered rude to show up at a friend's house unannounced?
If so, do you do it anyway?


Is there a time of night which you won't make a phone call to friends or family? If so, what time is that? Does it bother you to get calls after that time?

The only time I lock my house is if I'm going away for more than a couple of days.

When I go to the city I have to remind myself to lock my truck and I often have to remind myself up here to take my keys with me.......

I have a friend who leaves her door unlocked all the time. Lives in the city, mixed residential neighborhood. Risky IMO, but meh.

I've never left my keys in the ignition but have left the car unlocked many times. Left my window wide open at the golf course yesterday

Yes, it is rude to show up unannounced. I have done so only to drop something off at the door.

I don't call after 11pm or before 9am.
