What is the shoulder girdle?
The Shoulder Girdle, also called the Pectoral Girdle, is composed of four bones: two clavicles and two scapulae.
Name the position and action of the following muscles-
Orbicularis Occuli – around eyes – opens/closes eye
Masseter – between cheekbone & jaw – aid chewing
Risorius – sides of mouth, pulls corners of mouth outwards to form a grin
Frontalis – forehead - frowning & raises eyebrows
Sternocleidomastoid – along the sides of the neck – flexes neck, rotates head from side to side.
