A Question for MPA's

What brought you to this industry? What age? Why not another outlet (ie dancing, escorting, porn, phone sex op, etc)? And how long do you plan to be in the business?

I seriously got pimped into the business - stay the hell away from a travelling act called "Prince" and "Patrick" ladies.

I can't tell my "how I got into the business" story because that would affect my chances of remaining anonymous.

I can say that no one introduced me to the MP world - I found it myself and learned all I know through my own research.

I'm most comfortable working in a spa over the other avenues of the "adult biz"

I have a plan and a set goal as to how long I will remain in this profession - barring unforeseen circumstances, I have approximately a year to a year and a half before "retirement".

It's called being young, naive and stupid. I had no idea what these places were about so I certainly did not know that one could merely walk into a spa and ask for a job..(I was barely eighteen and a struggling student). I thought you needed an "agent" which is what these two boneheads presented themselves as to me. They promised to take care of having my hair done, my nails, to drive me anywhwere and almost convinced me to move into a hotel with two other girls when an outraged girl @ Alphacare caught wind of how i'd come to work there and gave me more shit than I'd ever heard in my life.
It's hard to believe now, but I really didn't understand that I didn't need these guys and that's how these guys prey on women. They find young, impressionable girls and make themselves indispensible to the point that the girls can't leave because they aren't making any money - it goes to these lowlives.
Thankfully it was only a very, very brief period in my life (I bless that girl from Alphacare every day) and it opened my eyes to how corrupt people can be. Thankfully, I am financially independant, educated and certainly not being pimped by two losers who I still see around from time to time - sometimes even at the spa where I work. I have no problem expressing my disgust toward them.
I am continuing with my education and I will remain in this business which allows me many feedoms until I have completed school.
