Advertising Acceptance of Insurance

Ok, I've been trying to figure out how to promote that I accept medical insurance, whether it is with a corporate company, like a car dealership or finding some way to get specifically PIP's through a doctor of some kind. I know that I'm not allowed to pull over every time I see a car accident and hand over my business card :roll: That's just wrong! So, what is the best way to approach people. I tried sending out letters to doctors in my area, but I didn't get a peep back from any of them. Naturally, chiropractors are less likely to come forward and give up their clients like that. So, I'm leaning more towards Orthopaedics, I just don't know how to approach them and who else I can approach.

I don't know if you're doing this already or not, but try going into the doctor's/physiotherapist/chiropractor offices and introduce yourself too. Even if you don't meet the doctor or chiro, talk to the receptionist or a nurse and give them your letter and business cards. Or ask if you could put up a flyer in their waiting room saying that you accept medical insurance. People are more likely to refer to you if they've met you.
When you write the letters, make it sound like you're not trying to steal their clients away, you're both working in collaboration towards the same goal - their patient's health. You could say something like "massage is an excellent complement to all the good work you are already doing" or "patients can return to their lives faster with massage and physiotherapy together"

Very cool idea, I'll get some more letters printed out and see how it works. I was also thinking about setting up some chair massage in gyms and see where that leads.

Also mention this in your Yellow Pages listing, and in every print ad you run.
