advise needed

Hi, i have a client booked in for later today, i need some advise, well she has had pins put in her leg and really wants a IHM.
i have looked up in cotra indications and it says that recent operations dending on the area.
I am not sure how long ago she had her leg done.
what i would like advise on is how long after operations before you can have an IHM?
and if the operation is in the leg would it be o.k to have a IHM as you are not touching that area?

I think common sense should prevail here. Make sure during your consult that she doesn't have any major contraindications such as heart failure etc - by all means ask how recent the surgery was - I can't imagine it was yesterda - sounds like she may be after a bit of TLC. Are you doing a home visit? Make sure she is comfortable with lots of pillows for support - preferably the legs should be elevated.

Hello all,
I am a therapist from America (Arkansas) and one thing i have noticed is that Indian Head Massage seems to be much more popular here than where im from. In fact, I have never seen it offered on any service menu from any therapist in my area.

Im really not sure what it is. Ive read that it sometimes includes essential oils. Is that correct? If you wouldn't mind explaining to me what all it involves I would be so grateful. I am very curious. Also, if you would recomend any educational books or other materials about Indian Head Massage, it would be appreciated.

I'm traveling to Manchester this summer. I might look into taking a course Do you have any recommendations?
