Im acomplete novice to this forum so please be gentle with me!
I usually give after care advice eg relating to treatment plans verbally although I find in some instances the client would benefit from written advice/ suggestionsto take away with them eg herbs, aromatherapy oils which may be of benefit. My only concern is that this might be misconstrued as a prescriptive especially as my training is not in for example aromatherapy. I know there are ways to address this eg noting on the leaflet "this is not prescriptive" but nevertheless I have reservations. I am interested to know what other people's views are on this andwhether others are giving verbal or written advice or both!
