After care brochure

Our homework was to design an aftercare brochure.

I've finished mine but the one thing I'm not happy with is that I have a section which lists the reactions to IHM - beginning with the good reactions leading onto the not so good! The heading for this is 'Reactions to Indian Head Massage' but 'reactions' seems such a negative word and I feel it may put people off wanting it done - I've used a thesaurus but can really come up with another term for 'reactions' so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

It needs to be handed in on Tuesday next week and I will hate handing it in not being 100% happy with it

I normally discuss the treatment with my client prior to treatment and hand them the list itself as they are about to leave. I've pasted a copy of one of my sheets in the consultation letter thread on the students forum..

I don't say reaction, merely give a checklist to check if they 'experience' any of the following. Hope that this helps.

would you be happier with the concept of 'healing crisis'? you couold then list possible reactions in context with explanations.

I've found that saying healing crisis can be a bit full on for most people, they think they are going to have bad things happen to them.. wish there was another more positive way to say it.. as long as you explain they COULD happen and that it's not a foregone conclusion people are pretty good with it.

Sometimes I explain it as physical and emotional clearing of toxins / negativity..

I think I will either omit this info altogether from the leaflet (although as its about aftercare I just felt the reactions were an important factor to add) and instead just talk the client through these at the initial consultation.OrI mayjust head this section'Following your Massage' and then start it by saying "You may experience one or more of the following:"
