alil confused...im a newbie.....?

i only joined up yesterday and cant really find out hows this really works i understand u asked/answer questions but how do i move up levels and stuff????

well, as u answer questions u get points, the more points the higher ur level will be...and if u asked questions 5 points well be TAKEN but if u get the best answer u get 10 points

You have 100 points to begin with
Everytime you answer a question you gain 2
Whenever your answer is selected as best answer, you get 10
Everytime u ask a question, you lose 5
You advance your level whenever your points reach a predetermined level, like 250 for level 2 & so on
And for you to rate other's answers, your level must be atleast 2.
