Does anyone know of a modality that would not contraindicated for Alport's Syndrome? This is a genetic problem where the patient's body is unable to produce a particular protein. This causes serious problems for their kidneys, and most end up getting at least one kidney transplant. That's probably the worst of it.

Most common modalities I know are contraindicated for this friend, but I want to see if there's any he could actually receive. This man has supported me through some of the hardest times, and I cannot even work on him. Please help me find a modality so that I can find him a massage therapist or learn it. Thank you.
 


With most really hard cases like that, the easiest thing to do would be to go for something like reflexology, since that kind of therapist only works on the feet. I'm not 100% on that though, so ask someone who specializes in reflexology just to be safe.
