Alternative hunting grounds

There is an area on Shuicheng road and Honggu Road which is in the Gubei area where a LOT of KTV, hostess and Spa gals live...

for some reason, there are hundreds if not thousands of them that live in about a 4 square block area...

I originally heard this from a gal I know from Shanghai Hotel Sauna because she lives over there with several of the other gals..

If you go walk around the area between 6-8ish in the evening, you will see them packed into the nail and hair salons getting dolled up for work.

yesterday evening i went over there and had a few drinks at a Korean bar on Shuicheng and Xianxia road and met a really hot one coming out of a clothes shop. I then went and walked around the Honggu road salons and met a few there as well. Got 3 numbers and I'll tell you, it is the strangest thing being able to chat them up so easily...more so that they are open to meeting up at a hotel.

it also might be the novelty of being Chinese but quite Western which always gets some funny responses 'Zhende ma?'

I actually believe there are many who are out of work and need the income so if your chinese is passable and you aren't shy about approaching random girls, this certainly offers some adventure with good results.


There is also an area on Shuicheng road about 2 blocks north of Yan'an road where there are some Japanese bars and Bunny's KTV which i walked into the lobby of and damn there are some super hot little chicks there all dressed up as school gals. its expensive so unless you are ready to drop a few thousand RMB just for a room and drinks and bad KTV, your better off elsewhere...that being said, these gals will give you their numbers and meet you outside of work and some can even go home with you providing you clear it with the mamasan first.
