am i allowed to get a hot rock massage?

Hi, i was wondering if i am able to get a hot rock massage because i heard from a video i was watching that if anyone who has a skin diseases should not get one. but all i have i Eczema in my left hand and there is not really that much there, and it barely ever gets bad as some do i hear.

if the eczema is on your hand it shouldn't be agitated by the massage, unless they put a rock on your hand.

Usually it would refer to someone with a contagious skin disease, or one with broken or open skin. (As long as the area isn't bleeding, red, or inflamed) You should be fine to get a hot stone, if you are concerned about it irritating your skin, consult your dermatologist first. You may also want to check with the therapist about what type of oil or lotion they use (so it doesn't irritate your skin) and just inform that that you have eczema, it isn't contagious, but if they would just like to avoid that hand you could receive massage elsewhere.
