Am i cursed?

has anyone else had trouble with the wheels breaking off of their stools? i've owned two different stools and both of them have had the wheels break off. it seems as if you should be able to just screw them back on but it doesn't work. i put them back on and 1 client later, it busts back off. what's the deal? the first one it happened to i only had the chair for about 4 months. the other, about 1 year. both stools cost over $100 so they weren't inexpensive ones! what's the deal?

Maybe you should try switching to a big ball? If it deflates, you can assume it's true that you're cursed! Ha!

I use the ball and a very stable stationary stool. I tried wheels, but the chair had a mind of it's own and would move out from under my arse when I went to sit down. Then I had one that was sort of vaguely rickety. One day while doing a massage and sitting on it, it collapsed in slow motion. Fortunately I was doing a trade with another MT because THAT was embarrassing to topple over onto the floor............

I'm not kidding when I say Grace is my middle name..........

Hi terab,

No, haven't had any problems with the wheels on the stools that I use. I use one in my home office and I also purchased several for outcall clients. I also use them on carpet and there tends to be a considerable amount of drag on said wheels.
That being said, I have no great, insightful answer to your problem. Sorry!! Hopefully the one that broke down at 4 months was covered under warranty?
