American specialties health network
I was contacted last year by ASH-they asked all AMTA members, I think. I did some looking and asking around and discovered a few things about ASH:
1. They have reduced fees for chiropractors in Los Angeles, California, area and have fought lawsuits by DCs. ASH has thousand of clients in So. California. DC's are going hurting after signing up with ASH and seeing too many people at low fees.
2. ASH turned down 30% of DC's treatment plans in a year.
3. They are only looking for a low-fee provider, they don't care about quality of care, longevity of the provider, or skill levels.
4. Their rate for massage is supressing the price of that service. Period. They want therapists to do a volume business.
5. Their Sprawl Mart model is only going to save them money, allow them to boast about having massage covered, and save their clients money in the long run at a cost to the providers.
I turned them down and I think they are not a good company to contract with.
Respectfully yours,
