An afternoon at a Men's Spa - Never been before

Just received, as a gift from a supplier, an afternoon with a local men's spa. The reason is because he heard that I like massages, lol, if only he understand the complexity of the different massages which I like. If you are the supplier who gifted me the gift card, I AM NOT THE CUSTOMER YOU ARE THINKING OF.

I really smiled looking at the spa's website when they say it is "designed with the modern men in mind".

I have NEVER been to a spa for modern men before, the gift certificate includes free use of the shower facilities, hair cut, hot shave, and 90 min. of therapeutic/relaxation massage. Interestingly, I have also never experienced a hot shave. Can anyone shed any light on whether this is a pleasant experience, are the employees male or female. If you tell me that I am going to get a hair cut from some modern day GQ male hairstylist and massaged by some burly Russian dude, I am likely re-gift it to one of my customers, lol. As an old fart, I really have no idea what the modern men like!

Go for it. I can say the hot shave itself is to die for. Any good massage will compliment your shave exquisitely and male or female if done right , I would bet any HE would be pleasurable, lol.

Did you get a gift certificate from The Boardroom in Commerce Place? I have been there a few times as its an upscale SPA, featuring some services to pamper you. Similar to ladies how they relax and have a day R&R, this quiet environment of a Men's Spa does that. Free soft drinks before and after your treatment. Serviced by ladies that focus on your comfort in a SPA Setting. Lounge Chairs, locker rooms, shower, toiletries to use. Like a airport lounge but better.
Now, knowing what you want *wink*wink*, no, this is and will not be the place. Are you shy in showing your body to women at this place? Depending on what you choose, you may need to take off all your clothes. Such as massage, or waxing. But you will have your dignity still. Keep in mind if you buy it yourself, you will spend a lot of money.

I just saw manicure and brow wax on the package. Being a hick, I have also never experienced a brow wax, this will be interesting.

Waxing services is interesting, because you will be the most exposed. And if you watched 40 Year Old Virgin, its going to hurt. The advertising used in the waxing goes like this:
Q. "Will it hurt?"
A. "Not for a man like you.........."

So yeah, it will hurt you. Pedicure and manicure are awesome too. I would skip the hair cut from here, I rather you spend $20 at a hair dresser for a hair cut where at least the give you a short 5 minute scalp massage during the shampoo/conditioner phase and cut/style your hair, then blow dry it, then gel it up. Its just that when you go through so many services at once, they skip a few steps.
There is also another treatment called the body scrub. You go naked, put a little brown or very dark coloured little hand towel that covers your genital area. She puts on scrubbing gloves and put exfoliating cream and rub it all over you while you lay down on a table in a very large shower room. The exfoliating scrub cleaner is similar to very fine sand paper texture. Trust me, your dignity is retained, done by a woman, and its gentle. Like those table showers Las Vegas and Los Angeles AMPs give, except no happy. But its better than a Korean Spa where they really scrub your skin down to get rid of the dead skin, performed by men, while you are completely naked, in front of other men and you look like a half cooked lobster cause your skin got a good scrubbing.
