Not hugely informative and I would say that it shouldn't be referred to as sponyloarthritis, as this simply means arthritis of the spine.
The key point however - is that it's an autoimmune problem, which I don't think has been known for that long. As autoimmune disorders are essentially an allergy to self, usually a particular organ or tissue, then in theory NAET may well help. NAET practioners don't just carry allergen vials for food and environmental allergens, but also, tissues ( in this case - cartilage & vertebral disk are likely relevent), organs, hormones, etc. I've personally had success with people with other autoimmune diseases, but obviously I couldn't make any promises.
Another point of note with Ankylosing Spondylitis is that there is a genetic marker for it known as HLA B27, but not everyone that has this gets Anki Spond. It is tested for as a matter of routine, but it's usually the x-ray or scans that confirm the diagnosis, showing an ankylosing (stiffening) & fusion of the vertebrae. A.S. has a distinct appearance, known as 'bamboo spine'.
Whilst males have a typical progressive pattern - starting in the sacroilliac joints or low lumabar spine and progressing upwards. Sofor a long time they thought that it was predominently a male condition, more recently it's accepted that is just as common in females. It's just that in females the areas of the spine affected is much more random, meaning it's more difficult todiagnose and less likely to get picked up in clinic.
Either the tone of your clients voice was always lower or it is affecting her cervical spine which will affect the neck muscles and possibly her vocal chords.
