ANTIOCH -- Two massage therapists were arrested on suspicion of prostitution after reportedly soliciting an undercover officer last week, police announced Thursday.
Undercover operations were conducted at two separate massage parlors on Feb. 9, according to a news release from Antioch police. The undercover sting was conducted after police received several complaints about the businesses.
An undercover officer paid for a massage at Far East Massage, located in the 2300 block of Buchanan Road, and Massage Spa parlor, located in the 4600 block of Gold Course Road. During the massage, the massage therapists offered to exchange sexual acts for money.
Jung Li, 46, was arrested at Far East Massage parlor, and Shoumei Zhang, 51, was arrested at the Massage Spa. Both women received citations and were released.
Police continue to investigate these incidents and encourage anyone with information to call Sgt. Jim Wisecarver at 925-779-6941.
