Any good new bars in Rawai/Nai harn opened this year

i haven't been out for 12 months so was wondering if the landscape had changed much??

Was a new bar opening along Rawai beach front when i was there in March i think, my BG asked if i wanted to go check it out but i didn't.

Where do you normally go in Rawai?
Was there for a little while last trip in March and before at Christmas, did spend the whole 5 days/nights with the same girl though.
And may pop down to see her next trip. Is it just the usual beach front bars along Rawai then one of the night clubs? Didn't find many good bars the other side.

Sort of depends what mood i'm in - for a few quiet beers the sea gypsies or freedom bar and Valhalla are normal haunts. If i'm after a bit of fun Asia bar, the goodtime bar or the ones up by icon are pretty good!

for a good party - i like the sunshine bar on the sea front.

Kata and Karon though are much better when i'm prepared to travel!

I used to just crawl along the sea front getting wasted then off to Icon or Laguna.
Have you been to a bar i think its called Monkey bar? Towards Icon. Where all the girls stand behind the bar and sing songs all night, they put a straw behind there ear and pretend its a microphone. Thought it was quite entertaining

yes i think it's the one on the same road as Icon - there a few good ones up there with some very tasty girls compared to other bars

Non of them seemed to interact with the customers just stood there singing, with there straw microphones. Was entertaining.
I'll be popping down to Rawai for a day or two in July to see 2 BG friends

The best for girls? uhh non.. i was there in December/January with my parents and thats where i first discovered the LOS BG Scene.. then recently been back to Rawai for a few days to see the BG i met at Christmas, then hit Patong.
There seemed to be alot more girls around over Christmas than there was in March, i picked up a stunner from Deep Bar (blue lights), on the corner kind of opposite freedom bar, but on going back in to the bar in March it was spot the girl! All ladyboys.
Quite a few nice girls in the clubs though.

been in there a few times it is a bit of fun in that bar.the staff are good and tend to fire the place up a bit.

second time i went in there i was standing around chatting and an arm went around me so i eventually turned around expecting to see a a little TG standing there but it was a guy from behind the bar :shocked:...i gave him a mai aow khup and he gave me smile and tried to start a conversation i just laughed and he went behind the bar again.
