Any Other Pregnant Therapists? Great chair recommendation.

A week after starting school I learned I was pregnant with our second baby. At this point I am almost 6 months along (girl ). I graduate from massage school on Dec 14 and I am due 2 weeks later! Cutting it close, I know.

Anyway, I bought this Gaiam Balance Ball Chair hoping as I got bigger that I could use it around the table. I had read somewhere online that another pregnant therapist used a ball and was able to still reach 99% of the body. I finally brought it in to class last night and it worked like a dream! I just wheeled myself all around the table and gave such a better massage b/c I was more relaxed and comfortable. It's wonderful! So if your expecting I would recommend it for sure!

My doula brought me over a regular exercise ball and I have found that to be very comfortable to sit on. I still use my regular stool while working and just raise and lower the table to where I need it. 38 weeks and still working. I did stop doing chair massage this week, now I only do table work.

I wear a belly brace: Belly Maternity Brace
That has been a huge help too with working.

That ball chair is really clever, little late for me to get one though (at least for pregnancy). Hopefully Baby is coming soon!
