Any Remedies Eye problems with Shiatsu puppy?

My daughter's little puppy is looking like it's crying..eyes wet & also around eyes.
Any ideals what this could be and what you can do stop it?

Shih Tzus have congenital eye problems called endotropic eyelashes. It is a problem with the breed. You need to see a vet. They are just born that way.
Many breeds have genetic issues. That is why mixes are more healthy.

The correct spelling for this breed of dog is Shih Tzu. They are very prone to runny eyes. I wipe my dogs eyes every morning with a warm, moist wash rag. I feed her a very high quality dog food, nothing from Wal Mart or the grocery store. Forget Purina, it is a horrible dog food and forget Science Diet that all the vets feed, horrible dog food. When I switched my Shih Tzu from Science Diet to Solid Gold, her runny eyes stopped almost immediately, although I still wash every morning. Shih tzus have leaky eyes. I wipe both my shih tzus faces in the morning with a moist washcloth. It seems to help.

First off, make sure your puppys kibble has no corn or wheat. Many dogs are allergic to these ingrediants, second, clip the long fur away from its eyes. Long hair in its eyes can irritate. 3rd. next vet visit have your vet look at its eyes to see if the eyelashes are causing any entropia. Last tear duct can be an issue. But try the first two things I meantioned. I own poodles. I also use a little eye envy powder daily, and we have tear free faces.
