I've always played RTS games for years and years, but today is my first day playing Starcraft 2. It's very fun so far, but I'd like to get a bit more focused. I played a few of the Terran campaign games, then tried one multiplayer game in the Practice League (massive fail), playing as Protoss.
I'd like to eventually be a regular multiplayer with a respectable track record. (We're not talking diamond league here... but respectably serious. Any suggestions for what steps I can take to get there? Should I exhaust the single player campaigns and challenges before moving onto Multiplayer? I'm not sure what anything means in the single/multiplayer menus, e.g. what they will be when I go to play them. There are a LOT of available things and I just want to know what I can do so I don't shame myself again in a multiplayer battle. So sorry for my ignorance- please give me any advice you have time for!
Thanks!
