I am not in anyway affiliated with the WWE, but why would they work for less. These are highly paid actors, and the money must come from somewhere. I am sure there will be plenty of people in attendence as their are lots of wealthy locals. It is the inbetween that is missing in TJ. Also in this community there are lots of folks with Green Cards that earn in the US and come home to TJ.

I think the pricing is fucked up, but I am guessing they will have a large crowd.

There seems to be huge disconnect between the event and local economy. What's the point of having the event in TJ when most locals can't even afford the ticket ?

I'm sending my wife and daughter. Tickets are not cheap. I bought the second cheapest ones at $60 each This is part of a four day tour of Mexico, and for some reason John Cena cancelled of course after I bought the tickets. My wife loves John Cena. He is participating in the other 3 cities. Rey Mesterio will be here and my lil girl likes him, so at least she will see her favorite. It is the third day of a four day tour(Monterrey Saturday), so I don't expect them to have much time to play. Not sure of their routine, but in the old days they had to rehearse in the day for the show in the night. I believe the best seats are like $200 per seat and they offer $150 seats as well. The average factory worker earns $67 per week here.

The reason I ask is to give a heads up that the WWE is going to be in Tijuana Friday. For a wrestling fan who likes to pay for sex, that could make for a pretty cool Friday. I am hoping some of the wrestlers may end up at Adelita's...That would be some classic shit.
