I have the same problem you have. What I do is try to masturbate as little as possible so I can build on my excitement when I go to the spa. It is all about moderation. Masturbate very little in the week and reward yourself with going to the spa after a few days. You need to have sex 4 times per month to stop thinking about it.

Also, cold showers really help and dumping a lot of cold water on your penis. I don't know about you but really hardcore exercise always get me exhausted. Do high intensive training when you are thinking about going to porn sites so you really make yourself tired and have no energy to masturbate.

You never mentioned your age ? I guess with age its harder. The first thing you need to do is determine whether the ED has a physiological or mental cause. It sounds like you already suspect the latter. Do you ever get erections in your sleep? If you do, then you have pretty well proven that the cause is not physiological.

If you are not able to get it up because of porn, the usual cause is that real life does not deliver the same excitement as your fantasy. For most men, this results in a search for wilder and wilder fantasy material. Not a good road to go down.

If 28 is your real age then I have a few thoughts. You are at an age where you set the patterns for the rest of your life and one of them concerns diet and exercise. For the most part try to eat well and find activities you like to do that have the benefit of exercise. For me in my youth it was martial arts and occasionally weight lifting. These days (before covid) it is weight lifting and either the elliptical or going on long walks. For a good erection you need good blood flow (aerobics), and for libido you need good hormone levels (weights or other activities that involve strength). For most of us muscle is very hard to get but once you have it it is easy to maintain. If you have a gut work on getting rid of it now - it is much harder when you are older. Establish good habits.

Sometimes I take breaks form hardcore porn and when I do I find average looking women more attractive. Seeing men with huge penises is probably not good for self confidence anyways. I think daily masturbation is healthy, so I would not stop that, but maybe use a more gentle grip. There are some categories of porn that are less explicit but more erotic - eg lesbian kissing videos, dirty talk, JOI. Stay away from humiliation and cuckolding videos.

Just in case get your testosterone levels checked. You should get a yearly physical anyway so you can deal with minor issues before they get more serious. Also, it is really easy to get a trial sample of Cialis or Viagra from your doctor - try it and see if that makes a difference.

Last bit of advice - get a girlfriend! For me nothing is more enjoyable than sex with someone who likes me and is enjoying being with me (especially if there is no condom). I am an old married guy so I do not have that option.

Some good advice above. There are a lot of lifestyle factors that can cause a drop in testosterone that would make it more difficult to get an erection. Stress and anxiety/depression depress testosterone and watching too much porn ("too much" is different for everyone) can be wrapped up as a cause and result of an unbalanced lifestyle. Not judging anyone or saying porn is bad - this is my personal experience.

My hobby habit is definitely driven partially by the need for more stimulation because porn has made my brain need bigger hits of dopamine.

The easy band-aid solution is get yourself some blue pills before your MPA sessions. I don't go often and psych myself up for days before I go so I don't have trouble getting hard for a hot girl who isn't my wife... But I'll still pop half a Viagra so I know that I can last longer.

The longer term solution is look at the porn habit honestly in the context of your overall lifestyle. Healthy eating, exercise, 8 hrs of sleep, less electronics, therapy, meditation will all help but it's a bigger lifestyle commitment. And if you fix yourself too much you'll probably quit the hobby altogether.

I skimmed through the thread and I don’t think i saw anyone mention finding an mp or sp you like. I’m in my 20’s and won’t always finish at spas if there’s something off about the mp... i watch porn regularly and am very sexually active... maybe the health advice above plays a roll, but i think it’s way more important to find someone that knows how to cater to your sexual needs. Maybe test the waters at different spas, find a gem, become a regular? Or maybe you’re just bored of this hobby lol
