I suspect it'll probably be more expensive and in American dollars.

You could always offer them Canadian dollars, indicating that this is the "new, counter-revolutionary currency introduced by George Dubya," and see if they'd accept it on par.

Go to San Fran often on business but due to the company I am usually with have not been able to partake in the hobby.
I understand there are several in the Washinton sq. area and in China Town, some interesting SC's as well but it aint' cheap-nothing in San Fran is, but it is fun! I have been to Garden of Eden in north beach and the famous Mitchell bros. O'Farrel Theatre...

MP Scene: 1/2 hr massage is $40 USD in most places. This only includes massage. Even HJ is extra. Generally it goes like this. 20 more for HJ, 40 more for BJ and 60 more for FS. Most places offer these extra services but there is no guarantee of service. If they are paranoid about you, they simply offer the basic massage and that is it.

Escorts simply don't match up to Toronto or anywhere else in Canada. It is very tough to get a good escort and the price is generally in the $200 to $300 USD range. Most good SPs are busy.

As rolo suggested, enjoy the strip clubs there, especially Mitchell brothers (MB) /Ofarell theatre. and Market street cinema (MSC). MB is one of the best in the USA with beautiful girls and nice shows. The prices are high, but some girls offer extra services. PM me for more details. I was in San Fran a few years ago and always wondered what the MPs were like... until I went to the Crazyhorse just down the street from the Market Cinema (which I went into> mini review: couldn't find any attractive girls and was afraid to touch anything for fear of mutating my DNA. But they might have improved...?).

You are correct.....more money required.

It's not just due to the fact it's US dollars.
major US cities like Chicago and Dallas have a higher cost of living (meaning the cut throat prices there are the norm).

US$100.00 for a t-less HJ is getting pricey. "Baby, I can't live off short money like that." The crackheads live off less--But I'm not making any suggestions along that line.

A lot of the "american" joints dislike the asian places. They offer more for the money and better service. Americans can't stand competition.LOL

You can get lucky with the far east places so check them out if you get there. A lot of the "american" places are pushy and rushed- they want your money and will end the session early sometimes.

If there's one definite DON'T....
.....don't go looking for street action. Russian roulette is safer in SF.(epidemic reasons) If that doesn't get you the "vampires" (slang term for ladies/pimps of the night who come out to rob you) as they call them will.

The china town in SF is HUGE compared to Toronto's. Nice looking chicks too I might add. Real good food. It would be nice to get some female attention too....just watch out though.

Have been to the Bay area a few times over the years, but unfortunately, other than surveying the Market Street area a bit (rather skanky, I would advise staying away) I have partaken in the area.
However, there's a decent website "www.worldsexguide.com" that has a review board that covers much of the world, including the SF/Bay area. Some of the posts are a little dated, but nevertheless it might be a good place to do some online searching.

You might consider the Chez Paree (sp). Just around the corner from the Mitchel Brother. A peeler place with a slightly different set up, some times you will find a real gem.
Lots of bucks though, last time it was $20 clothed, $40 topless and $80 nude.

Some establishments can be very tricky. One MPA in SF wanted $75.00 for t-less- NO TOUCH and no you now what ("we don't do that here...but well....maybe for money ...blah, blah, blah")

Definitely cash oriented.

Sometimes you can't assume/presume "that" comes with.

I went to Chez Paree a couple of times last year, mainly because it was within walking distance from my hotel and in a safe neighbourhood. I suggest going in the evening as there is normally only I girl on duty during the day. The place is a bit of a dive - the VIP room consist of a bench like chair. Had a reasonable (nothing spectacular) HJ both times and spent a shitload of money. My recommendation is to pleasure yourself in the hotel room and save your money for when you retrun to Toronto.

I live in S.F. and am coming to Toronto/Montreal on vacation this weekend. I know the scene here well.
Some of the information given in this thread is misinformation.
The prices for one, are steeper than you'd think. You guys are spoiled here. However, the service in S.F. is outstanding and the girls, almost exclusively asian, are really, "really" nice-looking. It's a treat.
The door fee is usually 50.
If you're in one of the big places in the city you're wasting your time and the time of the girls if you're not interesting in everything. That's the deal here. And that will cost about 1.2. Basic release is better found in the burbs, ie Berkeley, etc (that's 60, she'll take her top off for nothing) or bj (that's 80) There's more heat from LE in the suburbs, although still, you can get whatever you want as long as you treat people with respect.

The routine is basically the same in all the parlours. A short massage, she'll ask (in broken english) what you're interested in, you say "everything", you might negotiate, she'll be satisfied with 120, and then you'll go thru the routine of cbj to cfs. You may be asked to pay in advance, maybe not, it depends on how she feels about you. During the massage it's ok to gently touch the girl, she'll feel safer with you if you do. It's a sign you're not LE and she can feel you out.
You'll be asked by the mamasan or the girl if you've ever been there before, some lie and say they have, but I've always told the truth and have never been let down. Just be yourself and be a gentleman with the women, you'll have no problems.
Most of the places are in the Tendeloin area - not the best of neighbourhoods, but nothing you should be worried about. Most close about midnight, best times are in the late afternoons and early evenings. Forget about Chinatown. It's an interesting part of the city but that's not where the action is...

Unless you know what you're doing tho, I'd avoid other places because those mentioned above are the top tier at the moment and you'll leave happy. The people are nice, the service is almost always excellent, and it's safe.
Avoid the strip clubs. You'll get burned. Strip clubs in the US are different than in Canada. It's hustle-city and funky - don't bother.

The top place is Golden Flower, where you'll be treated to the best line-up in North America. But you'll need to be carrying about $220-$240, 50 for house, 170+ for her. But, it's a once in a lifetime thing.
The other places mentioned are standard - 50 for the house, 120 for her. This isn't considered expensive here. It's the norm.
