Thank you for your reply on Galaxy Hotel is booked in March for 4 nights so time is limited if you can highlight best places and activity at the Galaxy or nearby I would apreciate it. Is Yu Ping much talked about nearby or where do you recomend .

The Galaxy is a great hotel. They have a bar on the 35 floor and disco club with
W/G's in each one. I met four W/G's in the lobby.

Galaxy is a good choice. You can reach the most good places within 20RMB by cap. (Bund is about 40RMB). The most of the hotels in this category are quite girl friendly. Girl action you will find at the all-known places like Tongren Road and Julu Road. If you need detailed informations on barber shops or sauna places don't hestitate to ask me. If you stay at Galaxy you should try some places on Wuzhong Road. From Zhongshan West Road turn left in Wuzhong Road (It's a big road and the places are easy to find). From there starting on the following few miles you will find a lot of barber shops on with really beautiful girls.

I was recomended to stay at the Galaxy, any nearby action? Is it girl friendly, large hotel nowhere on these threads.

I would recommend the Hengshan Hotel on Hengshan Road. Good service, nice rooms and you can reach a lot of bars and clubs like Zapatas by walking.

i will be in shanghai for a few weeks and just wondering if anyone knew any good hotels over there? i'm looking for a 2 room suite to share with a friend of mine that is close to the nightlife scene

any help would be appreciated
