anyone know where i can buy a portable massage chair?

i have been looking on ebay but there all from germany ect dont really want to pay more then £70
dont mind a second hand one to get me started anyone help?

if u keep ur peepers peeled u should be able to find one there for ur budget!

I have previously purchased a chair on ebay for about £70, but when I tried using it I found that it wasn't the most comfortable to receive massage on and also wasn't particularly good to give the massage on either.

I tried various different chairs out when I did my onsite course and you can (I am afraid) tell the expensive ones from the less-expensive.

I guess it depends on what you will be using your chair for, but if you can, try some out before you buy.

Weight is also another factor as if you are going to be moving around a lot the lighter the chair the better (but also the more expensive).

I bought mine from Touchpro - they have various different chairs to buy at different prices from £165 to £450 and are based in North London.

Hope this helps. I trawled around so many websites also before buying mine. Touchpro seem to be the only UK distributor of The Quicklite chair which is the lightest chair on the market at the moment (and very a good chair).

If you don't want to go to the trouble of lugging around a massage chair and, presumably you want this for only IHM, then you could purchase a portable head rest. It looks like the top part of a massage chair but the beauty of it is it fits onto a workstation/table and the client just leans against it and rests his head on the face cradle. I bought a new one and it cost £99. It is fully adjustable and easy to carry in the bag provided. I take mine everywhere as it takes up very little room.

I saw my exact chair today in a beauty suppliers for £245+vat
I paid £62 + £19 p&p

I just got myself a really good chair from IKEAH, its very light, folds fast and easy, i added 2 thick padded coushions to it also from IKEAH that are allready vellcrowed to stop them slipping of, these are not sold with the chair but are well worth getting as all my cleants say the chair is very nice and soft. The chair was about £6.49 and the coushions was about £5.00 each.
