I suffer with cronic back and neck pain, currently attending physio and acupunture but I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel - had the MRI scans ect there is things going on in the lower back and in my neck, at the moment they are both driving me up the wall and it's getting very hard to keep my sense of humour. My physio says I have secondary muscle tension in these areas and my whole back, neck, shoulders feel like they are in a vise! My spare room looks like a physio room, I have every kind of equipment for exercises ect and I don't want to go down an operation track cause I;m not convinced it would work - had those injections in the back at the beginning of 2007 but they never worked. I went back to work (only do 2 8 hours shifts, mostly standing or moving about) and most of the time in agony after every shift, at the moment I am off work and I'm so worried that the company will finish me if I keep having time off work because of my condition. I do have occasions when it goes into remission and I do well but this flared up after a 12 hour flight home from Thailand in May and it's just got worse and worse.
Anyway...just wondered if any one has tried this miracle ball method...

I'm always looking for cures ect
I do exercises with the big ball you sit on, I walk for 1 hour a day, I use a vibration plate, I am constantly reminded of my posture which I'm always working on and I use a pain management hypnotherapy mp3 which on most bad days I do 2-3 times, it lasts about 25 minutes and it's amazing but 10 mins after listening to it all the pain and stiffness comes back.
This has got beyond a joke, I'm only 43 and my 80 year old mother looks and moves better than me. It's exhausting me..does this make sense? after my walk I'm totally exhausted, just don't know what to do with myself.....i refuse to allow the depression to set in - been there, done that many years ago and I'm not going there again...
Any miracle cures would be gladly accepted..lol...I'm in bupa so treatment is not a problem
cheers susan
