Anyone use a Facial steamer

I recently had my first facial.  Wonderful! I especially enjoyed the facial steamer.  I was wondering if any massage therapist's use them not for facials as an aesthetician would but when doing a facial massage.  Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.  I do realize I can use a hot towel from my hot towel cabi on the clients face however,  I am just curious about the machine. Anyone use a Facial steamer

I found a table facial steamer (all the other companies charged BIG bucks fir rolling ones), this one was only about $60.00. Its verrrry nice :} i, too like the steam. Very relaxing, and it has an aromatherapy nozzle.

i believe you can request a catalog. It takes a while after you request it to actually get it, but its WELL worth the wait. LOT of good stuff in it!

Bodymovers,Thank you for posting.  I have that catalog and saw the table facial steamer in it last night and wondered how well it works.  How do you use it in your practice, do you have a table for the steamer next to your massage table?  Could you give more details on why you like it ways in which you use it and drawbacks if any?  Thank you in advance for the info.LeContefairy

I am sorry to keep bugging everyone about this, I am really interested in these steamers especially with the peel off masks and just wondering if a facial steamer could be incorporated into a facial massage treatment. What experience does anyone have with a facial steamer, what brand is good and what do you like and not like about the table top steamer.  It just seems to me the table top would be more likely to turn over and be more cumbersome.  Oh well.

I finally purchased a facial steamer.  It is a basic model on a rolling stand.  My clients love it.  I am using it when their noses are stuffy. We live in East Tennessee allergy capital of the world and this steamer is really coming in handy for people with a slight dry cough and stuffed up noses.  I just thought others of you might like to know.  I am very glad I purchased one.I have not used the facial steamer with the peel off masks because I am very disappointed with the peel off masks and I do not use them with my clients.LeContefairy
