Lori, there are several really good discussions regarding chiropractors. If you use the search function and type in "chiropractors" or "working * chiropractors" in the first field and an "*" in the second field it will bring up multiple pages of various threads containing info on chiro's.
Here are a couple that I found:

My own opinion of working for chiropractors is it can be both a rewarding and frustrating learning experience. It is rewarding because you get to work on a variety of people and a variety of conditions. It can enhance your time managment skills, people skills, palpatory skills and communication skills.
It can be very frustrating because many chiro's treat their MT's quite poorly by over booking them, under paying them and generally treating them like they are rubbing machines rather than humans.
I would take some time and peruse through the above threads and several others as they discuss payment ideas, contracts, non-compete clauses, booking issues, front staff issues and even doctor issues. It will be well worth your time. Once you have a chance to read through them and have additional questions please feel free to post your new questions here in this thread or attach a question to the old thread which will bring it to the forefront and I'm sure you will get plenty of assistance in answering your questions.
