Approaching a Physician

Hi all,

Does anybody currently work/rent out of a physicians office (not a chiro office)? I specialize in Oncology Massage and I'd like to approach one of the cancer centers in my area. I am very nervous to do this, but I really think it would be a great asset to this center's services and it would provide me with referrals.
How do I do this and what do I need to think about? Do I rent? Do I propose a discount to patients? I'd love to hear from others who have done this.

Approaching a Physician

I don't, but over the years I have had a neurologist ask me to practice in her office. It's just too far for me to drive right now and not as convenient for my massage clients.

I suggest you offer a meeting and consider a rent based practice, so that you come and go and charge rates according to your own terms. It will keep things from getting messy. MD's can be a little headstrong. Better to be your own "business".
