"Aqua" cold stones vs. marble?
I have used these.
I got them to incorporate in a facial treatment using warm and cool stones.
And my decision was based purely on cost.
They are certainly adequate.
But I do intend to purchase the marble stones for in the future.
Marble stays cool all on it's own (about 10 degrees cooler than its environment - that is why it always feels cool).
The stones themselves feel softer...I know that sounds weird but the marble stones have a softness to them that is hard to describe.
I have been told by an instructor that the marble stones, rather than transferring coolness TO the body, actually DRAW the heat FROM the body.
I would suggest if you can, that you purchase a marble set so you don't end up like me having to purchase them both
Just make sure that the stones that you purchase (if you do) are marble NOT sardonyx. The sardonyx is pretty but more translucent and way too slippery to hold on to.
