i'm going on a cruise with princess...are spa massages an extra charge, or paid for with the cruise?
 
No, you have to pay for those kinds of services. And, it's about the same cost for a day spa on shore. But, keep in mind that they usually offer in-port discounts, since most people will be getting off the ship at the ports of call and the spa will be pretty slow that day. They also offer various discount services toward the end, if they don't have all of the appointments filled up by about halfway through the cruise. Look for these in the daily newsletter.
 
Nothing is free on a cruise.

Only the room, food and entertainment do not charge a fee, but you paid for these already.

Dont be surprised when they charge you a per night gratuity fee in addition to your nightly boarding.

But, its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worth it. Have fun!
