I got into a long discussion with a MPA last night who was bitching that massageplanet.netites are very demanding. Many massageplanet.netites come in and tell her 'Do you know who I am?' and demand more.

I think that's crap that guys will use their free membership on massageplanet.net to try and get more from a MPA who doesn't do more.

It did cross my mind that the guys using the bogus names weren't the actual massageplanet.netites.

Anyone who tries to use the boards as a springboard for "better" services is an idiot and should be treated as such.

As to the original question, I think massageplanet.net is fairly well known so guys may be tempted to think of a membership as a VIP membership to better information and thus better service which is very childish.

Even within massageplanet.net there is a mix of people which I attribute to the difference between senior and junior members. We get alot of new members that are just looking for mileage and nothing more. I would suspect these are the same guys you reference above. Usually they are flamed and eventually driven from the board as they find out that this is not free flow of information on where to get more action. I relate it to the horney guys that enter Grade 9 in highschool asking seniors for tips on how to get laid and think the writing in the bathroom stalls must be true (i.e. no respect for the ladies and with the only goal being their own satisfaction). Not all new members are this way but many are.

The new posters that endure (say they break 200 posts) tend to have a more serious outlook on this hobby. They aren't looking for that one fix but rather how do they find and maintain a "relationship" (if only a service one) with the ladies in the hobby. They're more interested in a finding a renewable resource (i.e. establishing a rapport) then depleting it (i.e. use them and move on).

Many a time I've had attendants (that I've seen before) be relieved when I see them. Just because I've represent their prefered client type - respectful. I think the respectful client is the one in the minority. Guys that use this board to justify their lack of manners and respectibility are sad human beings and the worst of the worst clients.

Who, exactly, do these people [ab]using their handles think they are ? We sign up for an online board and that somehow elevates our status ? Puhlease ! In the eyes of others, in many cases, being a massageplanet.netite, or any self professed "hobbyist" for that matter, is, well, not exactly a positive thing.

In the past, after a few sessions, I have let a few MPA's know who I am on massageplanet.net, or they found out somehow, but these days, I really prefer they not know.

No doubt, there will be massageplanet.netites who are demanding. Many do have high expectations, but I think that many massageplanet.netites are also aware of the dynamics and keep their expectations in check. There is also a mentality among massageplanet.netites that limits should be complied with. While it may not always be carried out in practise, in many cases, I know it is. There are some of us who are likely more devious in testing the waters - there's a difference between testing the waters and actually pushing the limits.

A fairly high percentage of massageplanet.netites value their anonymity above all else. I've heard it said, that MPA's can tell who is a massageplanet.netite and who is not. This makes no sense to me as a rule, given the variety of needs and expectations of massageplanet.netites. I was once talking to an MPA abt massageplanet.netites and she implied that most of her clients weren't from massageplanet.net. I enquired how would she know. She answered with something to the effect of, the fact that they were Chinese. ...

To generalise and say massageplanet.netites are more demanding is just wrong. In general, however, as a group, we do likely have higher expectations than civilians, but make no mistake, there are civilians that have high expectations and can be "demanding" as well.

I never reveal myself as a massageplanet.net member when I visit an MP.

BUT I have been overcharged at a reputable MP because they thought I was ignorant (I posted a review about this visit before but found out that it wasn't a reflection on the MP so i let the topic die off quickly) I wondered for a while if I should have introduced myself as a massageplanet.net member to this MP. This is the only time I have considered doing this.

In general, I would guess that revealing yourself as a massageplanet.net member would not bring a better experience. Just think of it from the MPA's point of view. A client walks in and states that he is a massageplanet.net member. Stress starts building up about the review that will be written about her on massageplanet.net. If she gives a high mileage service, every massageplanet.net member will expect the same high mileage. If she gives a mediocre session, this client will write a bad review. With all this stress how is she supposed to give a good session.

I find that the best sessions happen when the MPA is relaxed. I also find that I get high mileage when the MPA knows that she is setting the limits for the session and that I am respectful of her limits. (High mileage doesn't always equate to a good session so please don't get my motives wrong)

Anyhow, I don't see the point of revealing my massageplanet.netiteness to any MPA, especially if I want a good session.

In the end, really, how can we argue ... only MPA's can answer it, if, in fact, they know who is and who is not a massageplanet.netite. Based on who they know are massageplanet.netites, it could be somewhat valid. Then again, there may be a certain profile or profiles that fit those who, for whatever reason, like to, or don't mind, revealing their handles vs those who do not. More likely there will be a crossover of traits manifesting themselves differently.

Its just better not to even mention massageplanet.net. A lot of the ladies who I've talked to about massageplanet.net bring it up on their own, and they are not too fond of us massageplanet.netites. They do read the boards, and not too fond of the way "massageplanet.netites" degrade women. There are some who don't mind, but I found more who didn't

Doubt that most guys seeing the ladies at MPs mention that they are members of massageplanet.net, whether they are a member or not. It would just be the guys with a bone to pick, or asses, that would bring massageplanet.net up with some agenda in mind. Whatever the agenda, you can bet the lady is not impressed when she hears massageplanet.net mentioned.

Also, when the lady is reviewed, no matter how perfect the review is, she will find faults in the review and dwell on them. The ladies take the odd comments like, she could stand to loose a few pounds, etc, personally.

I think that's a classic case of a few bad customers giving a bad name to the rest of the group. A lot of the massageplanet.netites I communicate via PM or threads are very conscious about keeping their identities a secret. Those who tell MPA's they are massageplanet.netites are looking for extra mileage that is not offered at these places.

Throughout my hobbying career, only two MPA's have asked me if I have ever heard of massageplanet.net. I just play dumb, ask a few stupid questions about what they are talking about, and eventually lead the conversation elsewhere. Several MPA's, whom I get along with pretty well often mention of guys coming in and demanding things that are not offered. That leaves them frustrated, and a few times, I have been the customer next in line who has to hear those complaints. They even go as far as to tell me that it's "those review board" guys. As far as I can tell, MP's like Allure, SRM, and HFH don't advertise in newspapers and so on since they already have an established customer base. So when a new customer walks in there asking for extras, the MPA can figure out quickly that he may be from some review board.

For me, massageplanet.net is a resource used for making informed decisions so that my hard earned $$$ is not wasted. It's just sad when people misuse the massageplanet.net name.

Some ladies have been totally trashed here on massageplanet.net (rightly or wrongly), and you can be sure that these ladies will pass the word aggressively that massageplanet.net is full of losers who know nothing. For the massageplanet.net trashed lady to do anything else would be for her to admit she is providing a bad service, and in the many years that massageplanet.net has been around, that has never happened.

I haven't been asked before whether I'm a member of massageplanet.net, but if I ever do get asked I probably won't mention anything about it. I don't want a bad session from the MPA because of the extra "stress" it places on the MPA.

My personal belief is that the key to having a great session with an MPA is to have her feel relaxed, and when you mention massageplanet.net, what happens? She feels threatened and probably starts doing things that don't "sync" and "flow".

This also applies to other activties reviewed on massageplanet.net as I recall reading a thread by Shanel19 that she complained about guys calling her up and threatening her about writing a bad review on massageplanet.net if they didn't get what they wanted.

No doubt, Gimme. They may interpret certain things as "degrading", but the fact is that the job, in itself, while not degrading given individual morality, is a form of self objectification in the sense that it's based to a large degree on physical looks and service. All the massageplanet.net does, in essence, is visibly illiterate that objectification. There are some cases where it can go beyond that, but are in the minority, due in part, to the fact that a large part of the core membership, who just so happen to be some of the most "vocal", like to remember MPAs are people.

For the most part that is true, Kbear, but when I once told an MPA that I was Revolver, she was literally dancing down the corridor - FAYI do not use his handle; he will hunt you down and kill you.

At least I know nobody would use my handle. Why would anyone want to put an MPA in apprehension of unuttered quacko psychoanalysis.

In honesty ... YES.

Why? Because we are better educated about this industry. Take this thread for example, we are all expressing our thought and opinions. Take reviews, we read them to get an idea about the experience that someone is willing to share when going to MPs.

In my case, as I have already stated, I do not let an MPA know that I am a member. As a matter of fact I deny the existence or state that I can't read anything because they want my email and I don't want to give them any personal information. If asked how did I find out a particular MP/MPA I just say that my friend made the recommendation and he is a customer, uses a different name so I can't tell you his real one. This works most of the time, but there are always MPA who are suspicious.

In certain circumstances, if I get to know the MPA very well and a certain level of trust is built, I will only tell her if she needs my help but it has to be for a good reason and she has to have an understanding of the boards, that is, she may have a handle. I have only done this with two MPAs and one MP owner in my lifetime.

I guess with myself, any many others, we are a little bit more "high" profile since we have posted many reviews and we contribute regularly. That brings an added security level on our part as well as a higher level of responsibility to the general MP public.

Those that use their handle abuse their power and have no understanding about the true meaning of review boards. They are the black spot that will remain as long as these boards exist.

I felt it was in BOTH our interests for me to respond "bgirls website" coz I wanted an honest session, and didn't want her to feel under pressure.

Tamara told me she'd been ALOT busier since her pictures went up ( good work KBear ! ) and appeared genuinely happy for the extra business.

There will ALWAYS be those in our midst who abuse the system, just as there will always be (some) MPA's who hustle their clients or play head games.

We can only hope that the MAJORITY of massageplanet.netites post honest and forthright reviews, and act like good "citizens."

That way "good" clients are matched with "good" MPA's and everybody is happy
