Are the administrators of Facebook aware that almost every user hates the new chat...

...bar? I have popular groups and pages on facebook that absolutely LOATHE the facebook chat update, and all the surveys seem to show that over 90% of users preferred chat before it was updated.

But I haven't heard a single reply from any administrator of facebook. Are they aware of how much people dislike the update?

You're assuming that your group is representative of the population (a common statistical analysis error). Most of the folks I know have no opinion on this topic. They regard the change as a lateral move (neither better nor worse). That's among those who use it. Among those who don't use it, exactly 100% of them are not even aware of the change.

Guess it's not "almost every user" who hates it, eh?

(And it is worth noting that those who dislike any change in a system will be far more vocal than those who like it. Those who are unconcerned by or didn't notice the change will be entirely silent on the topic. This skews results in surveys and chat rooms.)

first, i thought it was a bug, and now its just annoying. I hope they remove it soon.
